About us

Our company

Zoe Olivia Elsdon Ltd is a Surrey based surface pattern design brand.

At Z-O-E we aim to share our enthusiasm for design by creating busy, contemporary, stimulating designs with a unique style for multiple product surfaces, all with you in mind. At the end of the day, our aim is to connect with you through our passion and love for design.

The baby muslin squares are the start of the collection. Designed especially for you, they are made with the softest material and high colour number to produce unique modern designs that both caregiver and child will love. Created from original watercolour and pen drawings, they have then been transformed into the designs you see on the cotton squares, inspired by Zoë’s surroundings, or from books and exhibitions that have impassioned her.

Zoë Elsdon is a fun and enthusiastic textile designer with a love for detailed artwork, reflecting her country lifestyle. Passionate about bringing outdoor natural beauty into the home, Zoë often places smaller, intricate elements into her designs for people to notice when looking the second time around. Zoë sold her first wallpaper design in 2013, before graduating top of her class with a first class honours degree from the University of Leeds, and going on to win a Print & Pattern Scholarship with The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design. After working in the field of print since graduating, she now has her sights set on designing her own baby and homeware range.

Zoë is passionate about creating well thought out decorative patterns stemming from her watercolour and pen sketches. All of her artwork is meticulously drawn, and delicately painted to create the final design which uses her hand drawn techniques, digital processes, or the combination of the two, to establish her unique signature style.

The designs on the muslins are simply gorgeous. How brilliant to have something that is beautiful, practical and original all at the same time! They are packaged so attractively that they make a perfect gift.

There are no secrets about these products: they are beautifully hand drawn, creatively designed for children and adults to love, and a good practical size to do the job they were made for!
